Adjust Video Flags
If your plan includes Video Analysis then Ferretly performs advanced analysis on videos, including:
Frame-by-frame image analysis (detecting behaviors like drug use, weapons, violence, nudity, etc. across multiple frames)
Audio analysis (transcribing speech and flagging profanity or other audio-based risks)
All video flags are initial AI detections and must be reviewed by a human (you or a Ferretly analyst).
If the video has a single flag, you can review and adjust video flags from the Posts page, just like regular posts. However, in many cases, the video will have multiple flags including the possibility of a flag for the audio and another for the video. Follow these steps below to learn how to modify or remove flags from a post containing video.
Accessing Video Details
Go to Posts in the left navigation.
Locate the flagged video post (use filters for Flagged Posts or specific behaviors).
Click on the video thumbnail or post to open the video player view.
In the video player you will see:
A timeline scrubber
Thumbnail frames from key moments in the video
Current flag(s) shown at the top (e.g., Profanity, Drug Image)
Individual frames that triggered flags highlighted or listed on the left
Remove a Flag from a Video
Remove from Specific Frame or Audio
In the video player, hover over the white box containing the behavior next to the specific frame or audio segment you want to clear.
Click the pencil icon on the flagged behavior tag (e.g., Profanity or Drug Image) if you want to change the behavior.
A media flag details dialog appears showing current behavior for the frame and/or audio transcription and will allow you to choose the alternative behavior.
If you want to remove the behavior, click the trashcan icon from the upper right flagged behavior tag -- that behavior will then be removed for that frame.
If the video contains more than one flag you can use the navigation timeline and frame thumbnails to quickly jump to flagged moments.
