Deactivate a User
Admins can deactivate user accounts so those users can no longer sign in to Ferretly.
Users are not deleted. Subjects previously tied to a user remain associated with their name for history and ownership.

Step 2: Find the user
Click your username in the top right.
Select My Account.
Click the pencil icon for Manage Users.
Find the user in the list.
Continue → Step 3

Step 3: Deactivate the user
On the right, click the three dots.
Select Deactivate User.
Status changes to Deactivated. The user cannot sign in.
Continue → Step 4

Step 4: Reactivate if needed
Find the deactivated user.
Click the three dots.
Select Reactivate User.
Status returns to Active.

[ ] Status shows Deactivated (or Active after reactivation)
[ ] Subject ownership and history remain intact
[ ] If reactivated, password and permissions are current
