Understanding Subject Statuses
Ferretly shows the progress of social media checks with status labels on the Subjects page. Statuses tell you whether a subject is waiting, searching for profiles, processing posts, complete, under continuous screening, or waiting on an analyst.

Step 2: Where statuses appear
Select Subjects in the left navigation (person icon on smaller screens).
Find the subject.
Read the status control (rectangle indicator/button) to the right of the subject name.
Hover when the full label is truncated.
Profile picture badges also convey state (for example redressed or failed). Profile search badges can show whether search ran and whether an analyst Verified profiles.

Step 4: Redressed and failure badges
### Redressed
Redressed means a Ferretly analyst (Analyst Assistant) finished review. The subject is ready for you to download and use the report.
Look for a green checkmark badge on the subject profile picture.
You typically receive a notification when this status is set.
### Failed run
A red exclamation badge on the profile picture means the run failed. Common causes:
Invalid social media handle
One or more platforms unreachable
Other system error
### Profile search badges
On Subjects, badges near profiles can indicate whether profile search ran and whether review is needed. After analyst review, the badge can show Verified (green).
