Supported Social Media Platforms

Ferretly analyzes public post content from widely used social media platforms. Platforms are generally considered when they have a large active user base (on the order of 100 million or more daily users).

How many posts Ferretly analyzes depends on:

  • Your plan

  • Federal and/or state rules about use of publicly accessible data

  • Technical limits per platform

Ferretly is designed to analyze enough posts to understand a subject’s online behavior. It is not an exhaustive archive of every historical post (full history can be cost-prohibitive).

### History and plan limits

In general, your plan may limit history (for example, 7 or 10 years) when your use case is dictated by FCRA. See FCRA Settings for product restrictions when FCRA mode is on.

For some non-FCRA use cases (for example, assessing influencers against brand values), the social media report may not fall under FCRA rules on access to public information. In those cases, Ferretly will attempt to access a longer history of the subject’s posts.
