Post Types

On social media platforms users can create original posts or reply/comment, share, and like another person’s post.

For posts in the dashboard and in reports, the post type is shown next to the post date. There are 4 possible post types:

  • Original Post - No icon will appear next to the post date if the subject made the post.

  • Share - A two arrow icon will appear for a post that the subject reposted from another user.

  • Like - A heart icon will appear for posts by other users that the subject liked.

  • Reply/comment - A box and arrow icon will appear for posts of another user that the subject responded to.

For example, the post here was made by another user and the subject liked the post.

In the example here, you can tell the post was an original post by the subject as there is no icon next to the post date.

Posts are also displayed on the background report.  The graphic here is a post key to indicate what information is included and where on the post card.
