Select What to Flag

This article will explain how to set up the behaviors Ferretly flags in social media checks as well as how the decision is made.

Step 1: Open Flag Settings

To choose what’s flagged in your social media checks, click Settings in the left navigation. The button may appear as a gear icon depending on your screen size.

The Settings page will open. Click Flag Settings in the left panel.

Step 2: Select Report Profile

Use the dropdown in the top right corner to select which report profile you are creating flag settings for. Each profile can have its own unique flag settings.

Your settings are automatically saved to the report profile as soon as you change them, so be sure to select the correct report profile or create a new report profile in the beginning.

Step 3: Choose Behavioral Attributes

On the right you will see all of the flag setting options, these are called behavioral attributes. There are 11 different behaviors you can choose from.

Toggle the switch to the left to turn a setting off. This means Ferretly will no longer search for content matching that behavior. Toggle the switch to the right to enable the flagging for this behavior.

Check out the article on behavioral attributes for a detailed breakdown of each setting and what it will analyze posts for.
