Create a Report Profile

A report profile (also called a settings profile) is a reusable set of options that controls how Ferretly analyzes a subject and what appears in the subject’s reports.

Attach a report profile to each subject so platforms, flags, keywords, history window, and report layout match your use case. If you run similar checks often, create a profile once and reuse it instead of reconfiguring settings every time.

You will:

  1. Open Settings

  2. Create and name a new profile

  3. Customize platforms, flags, keywords, general options, and report format

  4. Optionally set the profile as your default for new subjects

Prerequisites

  • You can sign in to Ferretly

  • You know which flags, keywords, and report options your use case needs (or plan to set them after creating the profile)
