Understanding Subjects

A Subject is the individual a social media background check is performed on using Ferretly. All information that is entered about a subject are called subject properties that Ferretly will use to identify social media profiles and execute the social media background check.  

When you add a subject to Ferretly, you will gather all the available information about them, including alias names, known addresses, phone number, email, employer, college, high school, age, and social media accounts. The more details you have, the better.

There are three ways to add subjects to Ferretly:

Click Subjects in the left navigation to see existing subjects. Depending on your screen you may need to click the person icon instead.
